THE JOB MAKER
Last night I caught another Dick DeVos campaign ad for governor. Dick is one of the scions of the Amway/Quixtar fortune who has been touting his expertise as a "job maker".
Well, I've got an idea. Why doesn't Dick promise to give each and every Michigander a Quixtar starter kit, and that way -- if all the motivational materials of the kingpin distributors are correct -- we can all become millionaires! That's the ticket!
Probably for the very same reason Pampered Chef doesn't setup everyone in IL up with a starter kit. - Ben Dreyer - IBO.

Nice One Ben. At least Pampered Chef people don't LOSE money based on a bunch of lies ie. the motivational tools
Pampered Chef people don't cover up the name either...Unlike Amway people, now Quixtar.
*Note* I am not involved with Pampered Chef in any way shape or form. My wife buys their overpriced stuff, and that's all my involvement.
I was in Amway, now Quixtar.

He's a "job maker"? Don't Amway/Quxtar IBOs tell everyone that JOBs are for losers who are "Just Over Broke"? Something's not right here!

Given his apparent lack of understanding of the futility of minimum wage laws, I don't put much faith in his ability to create jobs or do anything proper for the economy.

Hi, Steve.
I didn't know that Dick Jr. has endorsed a hike in the state's minimum wage. I'll have to check that out. But should we be surprised if that's true? After all, Amway is all about the transfer of wealth, not its creation.

Anyone look over these posts and get the feeling that, "Hey, I'll vote for the guy who can do the most for me." Our country is in a tailspin 'cuz noone can do anything for themselves. How about the govt does nothing for you except roads, defense and liberty. Go out and create something yourself. I guess laziness has crept in because we are so free we don't even have to worry about food here.
Give me a break,

Hi, CD.
I'm sympathetic to your point of view. I think the welfare state has done a lot to dissipate the Tocquevillean political virtues of earlier generations of Americans.
